Partnership will support CBA’s work to strengthen the future growth and sustainability of Cork city centre retail
Cork Business Association (CBA) is delighted to announce Kilkenny Design as its new Retail Pillar Partner, bringing together two organisations with a shared commitment to supporting, championing and growing retail in Cork city centre.
The partnership comes at an important time for retail in Cork, which is at the beating heart of Cork city, contributing to its vibrancy, economic success and unique character. While the sector continues to navigate changing consumer habits, rising business costs and an evolving retail landscape, CBA remains committed to advocating for retailers and creating the conditions that allow businesses to thrive and remain in the city.
Through its Retail Committee, CBA brings together a strong network of retailers to identify challenges, develop solutions and represent the interests of the sector with key stakeholders and decision-makers. Kilkenny Design’s support as Retail Pillar Partner will further strengthen this work, supporting CBA’s ongoing efforts to ensure Cork remains a vibrant and attractive destination for shopping, business and visitors.
With its own roots in Cork, and as creators of the Champion Green campaign, Kilkenny Design brings a strong connection to the city and an understanding of the importance of a thriving local retail economy. The partnership reflects the importance of collaboration between businesses and representative organisations in championing the future of the city centre.
Julie Evans, Head of CBA’s Retail Committee, said:
“Retail is one of the cornerstones of Cork city centre, bringing life, activity and vibrancy to our streets. It is vital that we continue to support the businesses that make Cork such a special place to shop, work and visit. We are delighted to welcome Kilkenny Design as our Retail Pillar Partner. With its understanding of the retail sector, this partnership will help strengthen our collective voice and support our ambition for a thriving, sustainable retail sector in the city.”
