The open consultation period for the proposed Mahon Point development has now closed, and Cork Business Association has made a submission in full support of the project.
We welcome the creation of:
- 1,900 jobs
- 251 new homes
- New public & civic spaces that will create a vibrant heart at Mahon Point
However, we have also asked the Planning Authority to consider conditions that will support Mahon District Centre while also protecting Cork City Centre as the prime retail destination.
